SPANISH TEACHER TRAINING

IH has helped to create the standars for teacher training in language education since beginning in 1953, and continues to innovate in training teachers of all languages. ih Valladolid is a recognized Teacher Training Centre in communicative methodology and currently offers 4 different formats of hands-on Spanish Teacher Training.

Formal 4-week Course: This is the official IH Certificate in Spainish. Offered once or twice a year. Certificates are issued by the International House World Organisation. Non-native Spanish speakers must have a minimum of a C1 level to apply for this course.

Special Needs Training (on-site): Spanish teachers have come from different countries to ihVa for tutoring, to observe classes, or with a group for short tailor made courses.

Special Needs Training (off-site): ihVa can send a qualified teacher trainer for workshops, conferences, or mini courses in different parts of Spain or abroad.

Conferences: The ihVa Director of Studies is invited regularly as a guest speaker at different conferences within Spain.
